Known as "Bill," he was founder and president of the International Division for Gap Inc. and expanded the company into Canada, Japan and Europe. He is CEO of Manzanita Capital, a London-based private equity firm he founded in 2001. Bill's parents Doris and Don (d. 2009) founded retailer Gap in San Francisco in 1969.
