Liu Sheng is the chairman and CEO of Shenzhen-listed Zhongji Innolight, a supplier of optical communication modules and devices. After studying in the U.S., he founded Google-backed InnoLight Technology in 2008. The company was acquired in 2016 by billionaire Wang Weixiu's Shangdong Zhongji Electrical Equipment in a $396 million deal. The merged entity later changed its name to Zhongji Innolight.
