Kapil Bhatia is the executive chairman of InterGlobe Enterprises, whose biggest asset is a stake in IndiGo, India's largest airline by market share. IndiGo was set cofounded by his son Rahul Bhatia and started operations in 2006. IndiGo has a fleet over 350 aircraft and flies to 118 destinations, including 32 overseas. The other interests of InterGlobe include hospitality, aircraft maintenance and logistics. Bhatia got his start in the travel business as a sales manager before he set up his own venture called Delhi Express Travels.
