Hideyuki Busujima is the son of Sankyo founder Kunio Busujima, who died in October 2016. In 2023, Hideyuki stepped down as CEO of pachinko-machine maker Sankyo, but remains chairman. Kunio transferred his shares of publicly-traded Sankyo to Hideyuki in 2014. In 2020, Hideyuki sold 20 million shares back to the company, which cancelled them.
