Eiichi Kuriwada's father, Kiyoshi Sagawa, founded a package delivery firm in 1957; now called Sagawa Express, it's Japan's No. 2 delivery outfit. Sagawa Express parent SG Holdings listed its shares on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in December 2017. Kuriwada is chairman and CEO of SG Holdings Shares of the company had soared on the back of a jump in online buying during the pandemic but have since declined.
