About Me

Chow Shing Yuk is cofounder, chairman and CEO of logistics and delivery giant Lalatech Holdings. It has a presence in 400 cities across Asia, Latin America and EMEA, operating under the brand Huolala in mainland China and as Lalamove outside the region. Chow was a professional poker player and a consultant at Bain & Co. before he started Lalatech in 2013, betting his poker winnings of $3.8 million. Lalatech disrupted the logistics industry by digitizing the booking of freight and trucking services, which were traditionally done through call centers. Lalatech last filed for a Hong Kong IPO in October 2025 after failed attempts since 2023.
