About Me

Chen Yung-tai got his start selling office clocks in 1965. He later expanded into office equipment, furniture and electronics. Today his listed Aurora Corp., chaired by wife Yuan Hui-Hua since 2018, sells electronics in over 1,500 locations in Taiwan and mainland China. Aurora also owns real estate, including a 38-story tower, in Shanghai's Lujiazui financial district. Chen studied economics in college. That department is now part of National Taipei University.
