About Me

Barry Bentley and his brother Keith founded infrastructure engineering software provider Bentley Systems in 1984. The company, which went public in 2020, develops and sells computer-aided design (CAD) software for architects and engineers working on public and industrial infrastructure. A third brother, Greg, served as CEO for more than two decades before transitioning into the role of executive chair and president in 2024. A fourth brother, Raymond, serves as a director. The $1.5 billion (2025 sales) company remains majority owned by the Bentley family.
