Anand Mahindra is the third-generation scion of the Mahindra clan and chairs the $21 billion (revenue) Mahindra & Mahindra conglomerate. The group's operations span 22 industries from auto to information technology to real estate. Mahindra is best known for its tractors and its sports utility vehicles, such as the Scorpio and Bolero.The company is planning to launch the electric version of the Mahindra Thar SUV in 2026. Anand also owns a small but valuable stake in Kotak Mahindra Bank. He relinquished his role as executive chairman and became non-executive chairman of Mahindra & Mahindra in 2020.
